Another new venue for the Guild; a lovely sunny drive across the New Forest to the National Motor Museum on the Beaulieu estate.

The collection housed within spacious but very full, split level display halls has everything from Malcolm Campbell’s original Bluebird, through an eclectic mix of Austin, Bentley, Morris, and TV and screen related vehicles. The Special Operations Executive cottage and Beaulieu family residence were also on offer for those automobiled out!

A smaller group than hoped, but some fantastic work was created
nonetheless. With coffee consumed and artists dispatched for the day, the
critique came all too soon which was held it outside on the café terrace due to the fine weather.

My thanks to all of the wonderful staff and volunteers who made us feel so welcome. A return is imminent I am sure.
