The final Midlands Region meeting of the year, traditionally held at RAF Museum Midlands, Cosford, was held last year on Saturday 22 November. 15 artists attended on the and made good use of the time and facilities to produce some great works in the usual range of styles and materials characteristic of a Guild Sketch Day.
The critique was run by David and Robert Calow who gave their usual very thorough and insightful assessment of each of the works of the day.
Thanks, as ever, to our hosts at the Cosford Museum for a great day. Thanks to Peter for his liaison with the Museum arranging use of the classroom and provisions. Thank you to Nigel for organising the day and to all the artists who attended (some having to overcome various traffic challenges on the day to get to Cosford).
