While it was not exactly a gathering of the clans, it certainly was the largest number of members to attend a Northern Region meeting for some time, with eight artists and a few friends in attendance.

With a chill easterly blowing across the airfield, we started with the proverbial, hot coffee and bacon rolls in the cafeteria, where Paul welcomed us to our autumn sketch day.

We were very pleased to welcome our previous Region organiser, Graham Henderson back north of the border to attend our meeting. With much catching up to do and talk of how the annual exhibition at Duxford had gone quite some time passed before we all split up to seek out our subject for the day.

Although not a great deal of sketching was accomplished, this was a great catch up with a number of the Northern Region members and with long distances to travel home, the day came to an end. Thanks once again to Paul Warrener for organising the day and we look forward to 2024.
