A wet start to the day saw us converge on the Army Flying Museum, Middle Wallop.
The Apache café opens at 09.00 so we set upon the coffee and baps before dispersing around the hangars!
The museum has just acquired an AH-64D Apache, a first for a collection, and certainly made me remember it when brand spanking new… The hangars are full of everything from gliders and spotter aircraft to all sorts of helicopters, too many to mention suffice to say we all found something of interest to depict.
A huge thank you to the Army Flying Museum staff, volunteers and GAvA members and guests who attended.
