The Gatwick Aviation Museum is a regular venue for the South East Region and displays a range of interesting post-war military aircraft along with a fine collection of historic aviation artifacts, including engines.

Given its location on the edge of Gatwick Airport, it is appropriate that there is also a display of memorabilia telling the story of Gatwick and its airlines.

Our latest visit was on Saturday 3rd May. Unfortunately, several potential attendees cancelled so numbers were lower than normal. However the seven members who made it had an excellent day blessed with very good weather.

At the end of the afternoon we held the usual critique, where we caught up on Guild news and reviewed the artwork produced on the day.

Thank you to the Gatwick Aviation Museum for hosting our visit. Their small team of staff/volunteers made us most welcome and showed a keen interest in our work. We will be back again soon.
