Another successful day was had by Midland Region artists on the third visit to Leicestershire Aero Club based at Leicester Airport.

The Control tower is well set up with panoramic views across the airstrip together with an excellent bar and food facilities to which we were given all day use including for the crit. What more could we want!

A very social lunch was had by many up in the control tower and after a much warmer afternoon’s sketching, we all assembled for the crit (taken by your Eds) and also eagerly watched by many members of the Aero Club.

This venue is now firmly on the Midland map and there is always something interesting going on and all enjoyed by those attending. Thanks should go to Chairman Matt Wennington and all at the Aero Club for making us so welcome again.
