Thanks to the close relationship between the Guild and RAF Cosford, this visit afforded privileged access to No.2 School of Technical Training in Hangar 4 on the RAF side of the site.

A group of 11 artists was hosted by Sqn Ldr Chris Wilson for this mid-week meeting. Hangar 4 is a live training space operated by the Line Training Flight (LTF) 238 Squadron and contains instructional airframes. On the day there were 11 Jaguars, 4 Hawks and a Gazelle in place with the latter proving very popular.

Sketching started in the morning and continued after lunch, before the group moved to Hangar 1 for the critique carried out by Robert Calow.
