The South-East Region gathered for our last session of 2024 at the RAF Museum Hendon. The event attracted a good number of members with twelve managing the full day and three others coming for a shorter time for various reasons.

It was good to see so many supporting the group with two new members along for the first time; Stephen Beech and David Bryant, we hope you both enjoyed your day and look forward to seeing you both again next year.

The group gathered in the Sunderland Room on this occasion for the usual briefing before we all dispersed around the site to our chosen subjects. The ME110 night fighter was the most popular choice with three of our group selecting that aircraft.

The close of another successful year, I’d like to thank David for taking over from me. David has found some new venues and managed to plan a programme for the entire year, something I never quite managed in my six years in the role. In so doing, most of our events have been well supported this year, although I’m sure we would still very much welcome more members along in 2025.
